“Cloud Strife (Japanese: クラウド・ストライフ, Hepburn: Kuraudo Sutoraifu) is a fictional character and the main protagonist of Square's (now Square Enix's) 1997 role-playing video game Final Fantasy VII, its high-definition remake, and several of its sequels and spinoffs. In Final Fantasy VII, Cloud is a mercenary claiming to be formerly of SOLDIER, a group of elite supersoldiers employed by the Shinra Electric Power Company, a megacorporation responsible for draining the life from the planet. Fighting against Shinra in the resistance group AVALANCHE, and driven by a feud with the primary antagonist, Sephiroth, Cloud learns to accept his troubled past and adapts to his role as a leader.”
MEMORIES:
Mostly canon compliant memories. As a child, Cloud would celebrate his birthdays and any other special occasion with just his mother as there was no other family living in Nibelheim. He was a little more introverted than he was in canon and a few bullies that would pick on him as a kid before the incident with Tifa and Mt. Nibel that negatively changed him.Cloud was homeschooled as he didn't do mentally well in the public schooling Nibelheim provided.Sephiroth was on his mind constantly as a child. He grew to be obsessed with him and had his own collection of posters and reading material, such as interview articles or anything covering his deeds. He even went as far as to grow out his hair like Sephiroth, though he kept it in a ponytail most of the time. His mother started out with supporting and teasing him for his attachment. However, she tried to reason with him once she recognized his intense idolization but eventually gave up. She did try to reason and stop Cloud for the last time when he brought up the idea of leaving for Midgar to join SOLDIER.Joining Shinra, Cloud was also bullied and picked on there due to his physique and his unique aspirations to be like Sephiroth. He didn't fit the typical physical infantryman build but he had the drive to join SOLDIER so the treatment from other infantrymen didn't get to him at first. He never had any friends, but rather acquaintances that possibly pitied him and stuck around him at times. Over time, and after a few missions that didn't go the way he wanted, he lost some of his drive and motivation.Cloud tried three times to join SOLDIER before giving up. He failed the first time as he wasn't physically fit for candidate testing but the other times he failed due to being too sensitive to even the smallest doses of mako, which caused him to feel ill for days. He fell into a depression for awhile afterwards and felt a lot of shame after telling his fellow infantrymen of his dreams. He was always super shy and tense around Sephiroth but also felt an immense amount of excitement, despite never directly interacting with him before meeting Zack. However, once meeting Zack, some of his idolization shifted over to him as not only was he was his best friend, but also someone who fit the ideal image of a hero.Zack and Cloud were practically inseparable outside of missions. They went out together to get a meal often, just the two of them due to one misunderstood conversation in Junon where Cloud was with other infantrymen as he was suffering from motion sickness. Zack quickly caught onto Cloud's personality and other aspects of him and made sure to look after him directly and indirectly. On a few missions, Zack teased him about his motion sickness but always made sure to help out. Over time, Cloud grew to have feelings for him.Since he was almost always with Zack outside of my own duties, Sephiroth knew him by name. He would offer to try to help out with small tasks, such as carrying stacks of papers. Even though he spent his time around Zack all the time, he still had the burning idolization for Sephiroth in a "fanboy" sort of way.Zack would talk often about Aerith and Cloud would tease him about her out of friendly fun but also jealous, though he didn't know how to cope with unrequited feelings as he was never quite good with handling his own personal issues.Cloud only got to witness the aftermath of what occurred in his home during the Nibelheim incident. (Sephiroth killed his mother before attacking him, knocking him out outside of his own home.)He recalls the feeling of death after Sephiroth stabbed him in the Mt. Nibel reactor but he cannot recall how he was brought back by the scientists.During the time of being tested on, Hojo valued Cloud more than Zack. He either called Cloud "Subject Strife", "Subject C", or "Subject S". To summarize his experience, he was injected with mako on a day to day basis, suffering some of the effects of mako poisoning, such as nausea and vomiting. He was often cut open without anesthetics to have concentrated JENOVA cells incorporated into many different parts of his body, even into his bone.Initially, Cloud did not know Zack was there with him and Hojo and his crew would often bribe him with the mention of Zack to give in. Once he found out Zack was there with him, just trapped behind a cell or the walls of the mako tube where he was able to remain conscious much, much longer than Cloud, he would often hear him banging on whatever was holding him back as he tried to tell Cloud something. However, Cloud at that point was half conscious and felt hazy so he resorted to just smiling as the scientists did as they pleased until they resorted to deeming them failures and leaving them in the mako tanks.During the events of the original FF7, Cloud faced more headaches than shown. A few of those moments had him garnering the same eyes as Sephiroth, especially during the time in the Temple of the Ancients, City of the Ancients, and in the North Cave. Sephiroth and JENOVA made themselves out to be more manipulative and tempting than they were depicted in canon, especially Sephiroth who used Zack and eventually Aerith to manipulate Cloud.Tifa and Cloud were extremely close during this time but never dated. However, they were easily mistaken for a couple plenty of times as they deeply cared for each other platonically.Aerith and Cloud dated and went on two dates during the time she was still alive. Tifa was fine with this fact and showed her support. However, though not completely known if it's a memory or not, Cloud and Aerith came to the conclusion that it would be better to hold off due to the current situation of the world and stay close, just as Cloud was with Tifa. It never damaged their relationship. After Tifa helped Cloud piece himself back together in the lifestream, Cloud trusted and relied on her heavily to keep him in check.During the preparations to rebuild Edge, Cloud was allowed to look through the old preserved Shinra files. There he discovered the details and aftermath of the Nibelheim Incident, alongside Hojo's testing done on him and Zack and how he was able to be revived and kept stable enough for experimentation.Cloud acted as Denzel's and Marlene's big brother. He took advantage of when he had to make deliveries and often brought back postcards or souvenirs from other cities for the two.Reno and Rude would stop by the rebuilt Seventh Heaven to have a drink with Tifa and Cloud.AVALANCHE would gather together at the bar to reminisce and catch up.

“Sora is the main protagonist in the Kingdom Hearts series, as well as a Keyblade wielder. He is an upbeat teenager who may seem simple-minded at times, but is very aware of the importance of his quest. He possesses a strong sense of justice and an unrelenting heart.”
MEMORIES:
Mostly canon compliant memories. He had a crush on Kairi growing up but feelings began to falter during the events of KH2.Sora grew to have feelings for Riku after reuniting with him in KH2. He dated Riku after Riku awkwardly confessed to him during a deep conversation while they spent a bit of time together at Mysterious Tower before Riku returned to his search for Aqua and Sora departed to explore other worlds in KH3.He had issues with his identity after learning about Roxas’s existence and they further worsened ater learning about Ventus in KH3. His thoughts on this mostly revolved around if whether he was truly his own person this whole time. While he never had the time to dwell on this personal issue and tried to not to express it, he confided in the comfort of Donald, Goofy, and Riku when his mind thought too much on it. Deep conversations with Riku always seemed to work best.In addition to identity issues, Sora felt a deep obligation to fulfill the role of being a hero, which resulted in reckless actions and unhealthy thoughts of a hero’s sacrifice. As a young kid, he was pretty weak and a bit fragile but always tried to work on growing stronger with Riku’s help.Sora became friends with Kairi first on his own before she was integrated into the Destiny Islands group as Riku was stubborn to let anyone else hang out with them.Activities between Sora and Riku progressively became more and more competitive soon after Kairi joined them as Sora began to develop a crush on Kairi. Riku often won but Sora never gave up. However, as a result, Sora felt overshadowed by Riku’s abilities and began to doubt his own but he kept these thoughts to himself. The events of KH3 was split into multiple timelines. One of the timelines ended with everyone on the side of light dying in the end, as seen in canon. Sora then used the power of waking to restore their hearts and restart the timeline from the beginning of KH3 with no memories. However, his heart remembered the moments that happened in the other timelines despite him forgetting, such as being struck by Elsa’s power instead of Anna.In one timeline reset, Sora successfully became a vessel for Xehanort after witnessing his all of his friends being knocked down before the big battle in the Keyblade Graveyard.Rage form was almost always activated when Sora took too much damage and started to lose himself. He was only able to take on this form after the frustration and grief of losing his friends and Riku in past timelines had finally built up in his heart and unconsciously acted upon those heavy feelings. In another whole timeline, or whole life as Sora, he also successfully became a vessel for Xehanort in the events of KH3D:DDD, leaving Riku having to do all of Sora’s work, in addition to his own, in KH3. In the end, he managed to save Sora in the Keyblade Graveyard after fighting with him but events relating to losing Kairi and Sora sacrificing himself to save her still happened. In another whole timeline, after Sora was brought back from his sacrifice in KH3, he spent more time with Roxas, Ventus, and Xion and getting to know what they enjoy and like.

“Shōyō Hinata (Japanese: 日向 翔陽, Hinata Shōyō) is the main protagonist of the Haikyū!! series by Haruichi Furudate. He is a first-year student at Karasuno High and is one of the volleyball team's middle blockers.”
MEMORIES:
Mostly canon compliant memories.Went by the nickname “Shou” by Kageyama but Yachi and Kenma called him “Shou-chan.”Hinata grew up most of his life with only his mother and sister. Hinata’s father died when he was a kid and Natsu was a baby. After growing used to each other’s presence and working with each other, Hinata worked towards becoming closer friends with Kageyama outside of volleyball.Hinata eventually grew to have feelings for Kageyama but his naivety mistook them for pride and admiration in having an exceptional teammate and best friend.Yachi helped Hinata realize his feelings after she let him gush about him in a conversation where he teased Yachi about who she likes.Kenma was often confronted with texts and phone calls on how to beat certain video games, what games he recommends, volleyball tips, and occasional opinions on dating advice.Kageyama and Hinata began dating after an accidental confession during a minor, harmless argument over crushes.Yachi and Hinata’s mother were friends as she would sometimes visit Hinata’s house to hang out. Yachi would occasionally babysit Natsu when both Hinata and his mother would be busy.Yachi, Kageyama, and Hinata often spent time together outside of school and practice, especially for Yachi’s tutorial sessions.Hinata always let Yachi gush about her crush, Kiyoko.Whenever he was in the area, Hinata and Kenma would hang out together, occasionally with other Nekoma members or with Kageyama. They’d go to video game stores or to the park to let Hinata try to spike Kenma’s tosses.Kageyama knew very little about how to cook food while Hinata did due to having to care for Natsu. While Kageyama spent the night at Hinata’s, Hinata showed him how to make egg on top of rice and pork curry.Hinata withheld speaking about his doubts about himself so when he felt as he was about to burst, Kageyama assured him of his abilities, though poorly at first since Kageyama didn’t know how to comfort someone in certain situations.Natsu saw Kageyama like another big brother. She often teased him and occasionally played with Kageyama’s hair when she was allowed.(More to be added at a later date.)

MEMORIES:
Mostly canon compliant memories with one major canon divergent memory. As teens and adults, Gon grew to be around Killua’s height and soon grew to be an inch or two taller than Killua.Killua despised being called “Killu” by his brother, Illumi, but highly encouraged it by Gon.When visiting cities on their travels, Gon and Killua stopped and took their time to enjoy themselves, such as enjoying town festivals for a whole day or trying new foods for a good half of a day.Unlike the source material, Killua and Gon never split up before Gon went to meet his father, Ging. They traveled together along with Alluka.Leorio was much like a big brother to Killua. After the Chimera Ant arc, he slowly opened up more to him and was eventually able to occasionally vent a little bit about his issues to him.Killua went to Kurapika for advice on how to get stronger and asked to help him train during the York New City arc.Gon and Killua dated a year after their adventures taking place in the Chimera Ant arc.(More to be added at a later date.)

> [ AESOP CARL ] DATA MEMORY ARCHIVE ACCESSED.
> LOADING REPORT...
“Aesop Carl, also known as the Embalmer, is a survivor available for purchase after completion of the prologue. He is one of the 29 playable survivors added to Identity V.”
During the first few weeks of entering the manor, Aesop was extremely shy. It wasn't uncommon for him to have anxiety attacks due to his situation. He withdrew from many of the gatherings and stayed in the corners of the room. He often ate his meals in his room and could be spotted by himself in the garden or library on his own. After awhile, Aesop grew to be only close to Eli, Naib, and Norton, often seen by the others lingering around one of them and hiding himself a bit behind them, huddled up with his makeup box. Sometimes, they all spent time together in a group. He got to know William more than he expected as he was around Naib often. Due to his extroverted nature that was rather friendly and persistent, he eventually became acquainted with him.Victor and Aesop became close acquaintances as they bonded over their introverted nature, typically conversing through writing on a pad and letters.Kurt and Aesop became acquainted due to Kurt's second home practically being the library, a place Aesop came to often to unwind in silence and try to learn more about the manor or other topics he found interesting. When Aesop opened up about his profession during a deeper discussion about everyone's life and the gritty details as to why he did the things he did, he was told by everyone that what he was doing was wrong. Some were more gently about delivering the information but others were rather blunt, such as Kreacher calling him names like "killer" or "murderer" as insults. Most expressed their dislike through body language, showing that they were uncomfortable with being in the same room as me.Due to this, Aesop often had panic attacks for a multitude of reasons, whether it being the current social situation, the game he was in, or even just the overwhelming thoughts of guilt. In general, he grew to feel more hopeless and found himself having more negative thoughts, growing to be suicidal in the games.Naib expressed disappointment, sometimes aggressively, but never lost hope in him getting better and showed his support during his rough times.Norton seemed more stern after learning more about him, even more intimidating in Aesop's perspective, but acted similarly to Naib in regards to Aesop. He acted as his self-restraint, most likely due to his own past being full of his own share of guilt and trauma.Eli was rather comforting to Aesop. Unlike the others, he rarely showed his disappointment, unless he was frustrated with his situation, and guided Aesop towards the right path.In moments where his life was on the line in games, he gave in as he believed his life to be meaningless and wished to feel how it would be to die himself. However, he would often be saved by a teammate and would typically be given a lecture by Naib or Norton on valuing his life more.Despite eventually losing the grasp Jerry figuratively had on Aesop, his "teachings" and past actions continued to linger in his mind.
